Larry Wilson was a behavior-based safety consultant when he determined the need for a program that went beyond the limitations of BBS. This program was SafeStart, which he developed and officially launched it in 1998.

In addition to an extensive range of SafeStart and SafeTrack learning materials, Larry has authored numerous articles as well as co-authoring the book Inside Out: Rethinking Traditional Safety Management Paradigms and a new book called Defenseless Moments.

He is also a masterfully skilled and influential speaker in the safety industry—a subject matter expert with a very polished delivery. He’s proven this with over 25 years of speaking experience at health and safety conferences, international events all over the world, and annual sessions at national ASSP, NSC and VPPPA conferences.

Involved in safety and performance improvement for over two decades, Teg Matthews developed a passion for serious injury and fatality (SIF) prevention, safety excellence and organizational culture, and the safety leadership and behaviors that drive excellence.

Working with company leadership, Teg have been devising strategies and approaches to reduce fatalities, injuries, near misses, and loss to organizations in over 30 countries and across most major industries.

Teg is also a recognized public speaker on safety-related issues, have presenting on safety leadership, safety culture, SIFs and other HSE topics at safety conferences around the globe.

Edward is an accomplished Health, Safety Environmental Director with a long history of working in the electrical and electronic manufacturing industry. Skilled in Industrial Engineering, Root Cause Analysis (6Sigma), Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering, and ISO Standards, Edward provides leadership to ABB’s Health, Safety & Environmental program, in driving towards Zero injuries / incidents and developing a strong safety culture.

In addition, Edward and his team provide oversight and direction to ensure that the company is meeting or exceeding compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies and practices.

He is an experienced operation professional with a B.S. Industrial Operation Management focused in Industrial Operations from Northeastern State University Oklahoma.

Anthony leads Chemical Management, Preventative Medicine and Regulatory Affairs for product supply at Procter and Gamble, which includes 127 manufacturing sites in 80 countries.

In addition to his governance role, he works with P&G’s upstream technology development organization to conduct risk and regulatory assessments in order to steward new technology to the marketplace. He has also served in emergency planning and public health capacity during his 27 years at P&G working on the SARS-CoV-1 and H1N1 pandemics, natural disasters, and the Fukushima Nuclear Incident.

With a focus on employee health, he also leads preventative occupational medicine programs for key ingredients including the respiratory allergy prevention as well as human factors and wearable technology programs to improve operator and organizational resilience. Prior to Procter & Gamble Anthony was employed by the DuPont Company as a Research Inhalation Toxicologist at the DuPont Haskell Laboratory for Industrial Medicine and Toxicology where he designed and led the conduct of inhalation studies in support of DuPont’s Agricultural, Fluro-chemical, and Textile Fibers Business Units.

He has served the industrial hygiene community of practice as a member of the AIHA emergency response planning guidelines and protective clothing and equipment committee and as a volunteer instructor at the University of Cincinnati.

John McGillivray has been the Safety & Environmental Manager at Scot Forge for over 22 years. During his time at Scot Forge, he has developed a world-class safety program that has been recognized by both OSHA and EHS Today magazine for safety excellence.

Currently John serves as a key member of Scot Forge’s Covid-19 Response Team that is developing policies, securing supplies and new technologies to keep Scot Forge’s employees healthy, and monitors employees’ health across three locations so that Scot Forge can continue to operate at full capacity during the pandemic.

Ms. Vivianna Laprea is currently working as a Health & Safety Project Manager at EDP Renewables and is based in Houston, Texas.

Vivianna has over 6 years of experience in Health and Safety roles with focus in incident and data tracking and analysis, starting her career in the Oil & Gas business and now in Renewable Energy. She is responsible for building new dashboards that represent the data coming from the company’s incident tracking system – EnHans.

She also has an important role managing construction projects in the North America portfolio, implementing behavioral safety program (SafeStart) and conducting H&S audits in the Western region (Washington, California & Oregon projects).

Jessica Aguilar is the current ANH EHS Lead for LATAM (From Mexico to Chile). She has a multi- dimensional expertise; extending to occupational health, environment, health and safety management, sustainable operational solutions and process improvements, key program development and knowledge management, as well as drivers of corporate responsibility and continuous improvement.

Jessica attained an MD degree from accredited medical schools in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, as well as a Master's degree in Public Health with concentration on Occupational Health and Safety.

She is based in Nicaragua for her current role, overseeing more than 12 countries where Animal Nutrition Health & Technologies (A Cargill enterprise) has operations.

David is currently the Divisional SHEQ & IMS Manager at Epiroc, with over 40 years of experience in manufacturing and is well-versed in technology.

From programming CNC machinery and managing transitions from the mainframe to computing shop floor execution systems, implementing manufacturing shop floor networks and managing product excellence, he’s practiced in implementing quality and safety systems for industrial and automotive organisations. His experience also includes safety initiatives that led to reduced workplace injuries and lost time through a safety culture migration.

David is the current Covid-19 Coordinator at Epiroc USA and the Global SafeStart Programme Manager, being responsible for implementing SafeStart at all Epiroc locations worldwide.
